Welcome

Our health is priceless and when buying, renovating, or building a new home, its ability to nurture health should be our top priority.”

If you’ve found this website, it’s likely that you or someone you love has joined the growing number of people interested in creating a healthy space for living, healing, and thriving.

As more of us work from home and spend a significant portion of time indoors, we’re becoming more conscious of the impact of indoor air quality, lighting, and environmental factors on our health.

The concept of wellness architecture focuses on designing spaces that support physical and mental well-being.

Sensitivities to mold or chemicals commonly found in traditional building materials, paints, and finishes that may result in symptoms such as headaches, allergies, asthma, and other respiratory issues are on the rise.

Advancements in technology integration of “smart” home systems are also reported to contribute to a myriad of common symptoms such as headaches, brain fog, insomnia, and other more. (That’s because radiation from wireless devices and electricity is disruptive to all of our cells, organs, and nervous system—even if it cannot be seen, smelled.)

With the above in mind, the 3 main goals for designing and building our healthy home are to:

  • Build with fewer toxins and chemicals.
  • Reduce opportunities for mold, water damage, and pests.
  • Minimize external and internal sources of electro-pollution.

Fortunately, we’ve had the opportunity to learn from some of the best experts in their fields and are documenting our journey with you here.
